Community Involvement

Community involvement is a high priority in The Naso Organization. Frank was recently elected to serve as the Chairman of the Board of the Building Industry Association of NYC, Inc., and is also a Past President. He is currently a Cabinet Member for the Staten Island Economic Development Corp (SIEDC). He served as Chairman of the 2003 Chamber of Commerce Building Awards. He is a recipient of the 2002 Good Scout Award from the Staten Island chapter of the Boy Scouts of America. He received the 2003 Award for Outstanding Community Service from the Eden II School for Autistic Persons. In 2005, he received an award from the College of Staten Island’s ISOLA. He is a member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, and is an active supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, Eden II, Community Resource Center, Project Hospitality, the March of Dimes, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and many other local organizations. In 2009 Frank served as the Ambassador for the Staten Island Economic Development Corp’ s Annual Conference.

Always looking to expand his considerable knowledge of the building industry, Frank pursued, and was granted, the official designations of Graduate Master Builder and Certified Green Professional by the National Association of Home Builders.

The certified Graduate Builder Designation is designed to emphasize business and project management skills as the key to professional building operation, and the Certified Green Professional designation teaches the incorporation of green-building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction.
